      The Rice Hospice program will be doing a Healing Hearts Support Group; a monthly grief support group that is open to all community members at no cost.
      It is not necessary to have utilized the Rice Hospice program to participate.

      6:30 pm – 8:30 pm

      Dear Parents to Be

      You are invited to begin the wonderful journey of parenthood with us. This is a very exciting time in your life filled with wonder and anticipation.

      Here at Chippewa County-Montevideo Hospital, we practice family-centered maternity care. Your new family is very precious to us and we want to provide you with the most positive birth experience possible. These classes are designed to prepare you for the exciting weeks ahead by giving you the knowledge you will need to make some very important decisions for you and your new baby. We cover a variety of topics which focus on pregnancy, labor, delivery and care of your newborn. At your request, we also offer an educational session designed to meet the needs of parents who know in advance that they will be having a c-section.

      Our nursing staff and physicians strive to answer any questions you may have during your visit to the hospital. We are availabe 24 hours a day. Feel free to call anytime.

      We are looking forward to meeting you and your new baby very soon! Thank you for sharing one of your most important moments in life with us!

    1. DCSE Dementia Caregiver Support & Education @ Chippewa County Montevideo Hospital
      10:30 am – 12:00 pm

      DCSE provides education in the area of dementia and it’s effects on a person’s function, communication and behavior.

      We also know that caregivers of people with dementia find comfort in talking to others who share the same challenges and concerns.

      DCSE is a safe place where caregivers can go to get the support they need, as well as offer support to others.
