Gregg married Julie in June 2012. They were friends back in the college days. His first wife, Gayle, died in 2010 from brain cancer. He has two children: Joshua and Abby. Their middle daughter, Emily died of encephalitis in 2009. Outside of the Clinic, he keeps busy making wine, gardening, reading, traveling and trying not to get hurt skiing and 4-wheeling.
