Provider Scheduler-Credentialing

POSITION:  Provider Scheduler/Credentialing

Type of Employment:   1.0 FTE / Non-exempt

Shift:  Days:  40 hours per week

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the provider scheduler/credentialing performs delegated and independent functions to coordinate the provider’s schedules, including:  clinic, OB call, hospitalist, ER and locum tenen coverage as well as provider credentialing. Position requires high level of confidentiality and customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with providers and management.

Job Qualifications:

Associates degree preferred, high school diploma with work related experience may be considered.

Experience: Minimum two (2) years experience with provider scheduling or clinic experience preferred.
