Nurse Practitioner

POSITION:  Nurse Practitioner Walk in Clinic


Type of Employment:   1.0 FTE


Shift:  Days:  40 hours per week
Weekends and Holidays:  No


Education/Training: Must have a Master’s Degree in Nursing and Nurse Practitioner certification.  Current unrestricted MN License.  Current registration certificate of DEA.

Experience:  Family Nurse Practitioner experience preferred.

General Responsibilities

The APRN/CNP will provide ambulatory care for out patients with acute episodic illness or injury.  Clinical activities include but are not limited to physical examination, health and psychological history-taking, clinical evaluation, ordering and interpreting diagnostic testing, development and implementation of treatment plans, and patient education (as described in Practice Agreement).
