POSTION: Clinical Applications Analyst
DEPARTMENT: IT
HOURS:
Full Time/Exempt
Mon-Fri with on-call time
UNION: Non-union
Education/Experience:
IS experience preferred
RN with 2-3 years experience
Responsibilities:
Clinical Project Support Coordinator will report to the Information Technology Manager for all clinical related tasks and projects.
Employee is responsible for the Meditech Health Solutions related items such end-user training, setup & implementation of current and new modules, maintaining the test environment and working with others to resolve Meditech related issues.
Responsible for assisting all departments with the implementation and training for each module and for coordination of training of new employees in the use of the Meditech modules.
Evaluate work flows and processes and recommend changes that will improve productivity and patient care.
Day to day activities will include assisting users with specific issues or problems. General setup and maintenance of the users access to modules based on job requirements. Software updates as required. Implementation of new systems and applications within the hospital/clinic environment.
Job requires thorough computer support knowledge for Windows based on Hospital and Clinic Applications. Knowledge of networking including firewalls, managed and unmanaged switches, routers, and access points is desirable.
Troubleshoot user issues and problems when working with other IS staff to determine and implement solutions.
Experience with Meditech, Dairyland or comparable systems preferred.
Excellent communication skills.
