OPERATING ROOM SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities: Direct and supervise the function of the Operating Room to provide safe and efficient care for both the patient and those working in the department. Develop department objectives and perioperative nursing care policies and procedures. Collaborate to develop and implement measures/strategic plans for Surgical Services to improve and expand care. Ensures services are provided in accordance with professional, regulatory and accrediting standards.

Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed in the State of Minnesota. Bachelor’s Degree + 5 years perioperative experience. Knowledge of future impact of computerization of surgical services.
